The Vizion Journey
Vizions Dance was founded in 2015, and has been dedicated to developing exceptional dancers through training and experience.
Since our founding, VIZIONS Dance has been dedicated to more than just movement—we are committed to storytelling, community advocacy, and artistic excellence. Our history is rooted in the vibrant landscape of West Michigan, and we take pride in the milestones that have shaped our "vizion." In 2016, VIZIONS was honored to be a part of the Cultura Collective team that received two ArtPrize Juried Grand Prizes for the multidisciplinary installation "This Space is Not Abandoned" - Best Installment and Outstanding Venue. Our performance at the Rumsey Street site in ArtPrize the following year explored the life and history of the neighborhood, using movement to prove that no space is truly empty when it holds the stories of its people.
